What is Theatre in Palm?
TIP brings together 12 partners from all over Europe to collaborate and co-create in an international and intercultural platform. The project will last between 2022 and 2025. It works towards establishing a platform for emerging artists in the performing arts that can act as a stepping stone for European exchange and intercultural collaboration. The project aims to help emerging artists navigate their careers, broaden networks, and facilitate cooperation between the project's member countries.
Turku Arts Academy coordinates this groundbreaking project. In addition to Sweden, organizations from Italy, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Greece, Belgium, Cyprus, Romania, and Bulgaria are active on the platform.
All of the above events are synchronized as part of a multi-festival week in Stockholm that, in addition to the Stockholm Fringe Festival (#STOFF2024) and the World Fringe Congress, will feature Swedstage and Stolt Scenkonst as part of a Swedish Performing Arts Expo by Scensverige.
