THE 18TH STOCKHOLM FRINGE FESTIVAL (STOFF)GLOBAL ARTIST CALL IS NOW OPEN!

For the 11th year in a row, we’re partnering with our sister festivals in the region to form the Baltic Nordic Fringe Network (BNFN) TOURING CIRCUIT!

Information in short:

Our network comprises ten festivals across seven countries, connecting artists with festivals across the Baltic Nordic region. Together, the BNFN festivals expect to bring over 850 events to more than 90 stages and spaces in 10 cities between May and Sept 2027. The Aug-Sept circuit batch aligns with the backend of Edinburgh Fringe to allow tour extensions for artists already on tour! 

Seven of ten BNFN festivals are part of the 2027 global artist call, where you can submit one online application for the festivals that suit your project and touring plans.

Across the network, 35% of all programmed talent turned their visit to the Baltic Nordic region into a mini-tour. Most of these touring acts performed at two or three festivals.

Each festival selects its own programme and issues its own artist agreement. Each festival’s admin fees, venues, technical provision, box office shares and payment schedules may vary. Please scroll down for festival-specific info! 

An application to the network does not guarantee selection by any festival.

Several late summer BNFN festivals overlap. The festivals aim to accommodate your tour pathway and allow you to showcase your work in multiple BNFN cities. 

What

The Baltic Nordic Fringe Network (BNFN) aims to simplify systems and provide touring opportunities for artists applying to one or more Fringe festivals in the Nordic region.

Why

Participating STOFF artists have expressed the desire to combine their "STOFFholm" visit with additional tour dates in the Baltic-Nordic region. Until our formation, a touring theatre network in the Nordic region has not existed.
