Stockholm Fringe Festival #STOFF2025 bursts back onto the scene with one of our funniest, most fearless editions yet — a wild ride of resistance, care, curiosity… and a hefty dose of mischief. From stages to streets, screens to secret corners of the city, we’re unleashing bold, boundary-busting art in an era when creative freedom is anything but guaranteed.
This year’s line-up doesn’t just cut deep — it tickles your ribs while it does it: razor-sharp comedy, politically charged monologues, and physical works that wrestle with identity, shame, and resilience. Theatre blurs fact and fiction, poking at digital addiction, gender politics, and the glorious absurdities of our time — where satire and sincerity dance together in delightful chaos.
Immersive installations, concerts, and one-to-one encounters invite reflection (and sometimes ridiculousness), while drag, cabaret, and circus explode with punk energy, glamour, and political bite. Site-specific adventures and intimate performances dig up forgotten stories, unlikely histories, and personal truths you didn’t know you were ready for.
Workshops, labs, and panels open new artistic frontiers — where collective thinking reimagine the future of performance arts with the help of new tools and work practices.
In a world increasingly hostile to dissent, #STOFF2025 stands loud, proud, and occasionally in sequins for artistic freedom, joyful subversion, and the radical power of expression.
As always — expect the unexpected. But this time, expect it to be a riot.
